Storytelling (Matthew 2:13–23)
- An angel warns Joseph in a dream: "Get up, take the child and His mother, and escape to Egypt." Joseph obeys that very night.
- The family stays in Egypt until God says it is safe to return.
- After Herod dies, an angel says, "Go back to Israel." Joseph obeys, but when he learns of danger, he is warned again and goes to Galilee.
- The family settles in Nazareth—just as the prophets said.
